Speed Gates [01.10.09]

Nestle turned to Eagle when a set of speed gates were required .The Eagle trackless bi-folding speed gate comprises a unique drive mechanism to control the opening and closing of a bi folding set of gates. This mechanism converts and controls both leaves producing a smooth but fast action.

This unique design allows the gate to operate without the use of a bottom or top track thus eliminating any height restrictions and large tracks in the road.

The gates are manufactured from 50x50 mm box section with 25mm bars spaced at approx 100mm intervals.

They are installed on 200mm square posts and can provide as standard an opening of 6m.

The gate leafs are hung on heavy duty hinges incorporating sealed bearings for smooth and long life operation.

Typically the height of the gate is 2.2m but with our in house design team a system can be designed unique to your requirements.

Systems come with the option of various safety systems and manual release in the event of power failure.
