PAS 68 Bi Folding Speed Gates

In 2012 Eagle launched its PAS 68 Bi Folding Trackless Speed Gate. The patent applied for design produced market leading results giving it the best penetration classification in its class. With shallow foundation and extremely low penetration it provides a superb design engineered solution for protection against hostile vehicle mitigation.


Continuous investment in research and design and product development Eagle Automation successfully tested their latest product the ECG001 Crash tested Bi-Folding Speed Gate at TRL in late 2011. The system produced truly outstanding results on its first ever test which were testament to the extensive pre-test stress calculations and CAD design involved in its development.


As a result of the impressive design and test results Eagle were requested to test a N3 vehicle at 50mph. Once again the system produced outstanding market leading results with a penetration 0f 0.7 meters and zero debris.

Designed to prevent hostile vehicle mitigation its flexible lightweight design means that it can be manufactured with different mesh infill to match existing perimeter fencing. Available as fully automated system or manual operation to suit client’s specification.


Eagle has a programme of constant investment in research and development backed up by our experienced in house design engineers. Plans to launch and test further PAS68 Gates this year are firmly in place and news will be released on these products as soon as they become available.
